Ahead of time, I was really excited about this shoot because I hadn't taken pictures at this location before! I knew there would be some good opportunities for some great shots! However, the weather took a little of the fun out of it... Kathleen and I had to suffer through 39 degree weather and some frustrating wind, but we made the best of it. I've been friends with Kathleen throughout high school, and I'm so glad I could take her senior pictures for her! I love these pictures Kathleen. You look beautiful!
Allyson and I have been friends for many years now, so it's crazy that I've now taken her senior pictures! She had a really unique idea for where she wanted her pictures: RF&P Park! The train cars were definitely a cool setting. Of course, we had to go over to the little pond to get some great shots as well. I think they turned out great! I had a great time with Allyson, even though we had a bit of a challenge with the wind at times. I hope you and your family enjoy your pictures Allyson! You're gorgeous!
I had a fantastic time taking pictures of Michelle at Maymont! It was a beautiful day, and we definitely got our exercise walking around the grounds. There were so many great photo ops at Maymont, and I hope I get to do many more shoots there! I thought it was awesome that Michelle brought along her headwrap to wear for some of her pictures. It really made her pictures unique and fitting to her personality. Michelle is also the master of the serious, model sort of face. She's fantastic, and she made my job easy! I knew ahead of time that I would have a great time at this shoot, and I definitely did. Brooke brought her mom along who was so sweet and helped by holding my lenses for me! Her input for how she wanted some of Brooke's pictures to look was so helpful to me. Brooke was so much fun to work with; she's a natural in front of the camera and she had some great outfits for the shoot. I absolutely love how these pictures turned out! You look gorgeous Brooke!
Emily and her family enjoyed her photos from her first session so much that she scheduled another session! We had a great time exploring and roaming around for good photo ops, even though it was incredibly hot outside for the beginning of October. Oh, and I'm in love with Emily's outfit from this session. Emily is one of my closest friends, and I was so happy that she was the first person I shot a senior portrait session with!
